IMPRESSIONISM
Works here are my interpretation of French Impressionism by using charcoal.
To capture movement of life and light without colour as was initiated
by the early painters of the movement is a challenge.

This painting carries an impasto like Post-Impressionist style executed over 3 nights with no sleep. It provides the viewer a move from monochrome to colour.
POST-IMPRESSIONISM
Claude Monet was the pioneer of French Impressionism alongside other artist, some whose works are displayed above. In this upcoming series, I am introducing Post-Impressionism with one of the most adored artist in history, Vincent Van Gogh. One will notice a mix of works between my own compositions and that of Van Gogh.
